Sathyanarayana Pooja
Among the Kathas that are prevalent in India, 'Shri Sathyanarayana Katha ' is the most popular.Sathyanarayana katha is the easiest way of self -purification and self-surrender at the lotus feet of Hari. One who observes it with full devotion and faith is sure to attain his heart's desire.Our ancient text state that during the 'Kalyug' the fruit that one gets by conducting the 'Sathyanarayana Katha' is enormous.The Katha is dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his manifestation as Lord Sathyanarayanan.Sathya means TRUTH, NAR means a man and AYAN means a place.Thus the place where truth resides in man is called Sathyanarayanan.The Sathyanarayana Katha help us overcomes vices like lust,anger,greed, attachments and Ego. The Sathyanaraya Puja is done on the Purnima Day if every month ( the day of the full moon ). It is also done on special occasions in the Temple.
Worship Procdure in Temple
Ganapathi invocation Matra , Sathyanaraya Invocation Mantra , Invocation mantras of all dieties , katha , aarthi and Puspanjali is performed.
Pooja Timing : Every Month on Purnima Day between 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
